Who we are: An incorporated, volunteer-run community association representing residents, landholders, businesses and road users of the 450,000 hectare land mass that has been impacted by the bridge.
What we do: We have a signal focus campaign for a safe, modern crossing at Scabbing Flat over the Macquarie River near Geurie. We want to keep the community informed about works and closures, and give local people a united voice with Dubbo Regional Council, Transport for NSW and our state and federal representatives.
Why it matters: Scabbing Flat Bridge is more than a road.
It's how our kids get to school.
It is how farmer’s produce gets to market.
It is how our transport and trucking industries efficiently bring supplies and inputs from south to north, east to west.
The bridge is how our community stays connected.
